Instead of Cal.com: data in Germany on every plan and an AI phone assistant that answers and makes calls.

Zeeg stores all data on servers in Germany, on every plan including the free one, encrypted at rest and in transit, and includes a data processing agreement. Cal.com, Inc. is a US company based in San Francisco. According to its privacy policy, Cal.com processes data in the United States and relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses for transfers from the European Economic Area; if you need EU data residency, the policy asks you to contact Cal.com. Cal.com’s pricing page lists US and EU hosting among its data features, and its separate EU instance Cal.eu is scheduled to shut down on November 1, 2026.
Zeeg’s AI phone assistant answers calls around the clock in 23 languages, including English, German, Turkish, Polish and Ukrainian. It qualifies requests, books appointments straight into your calendar and makes calls itself, for example for callbacks or campaigns from a CSV import. You can use it on every Zeeg plan, including the free one, and pay for AI minutes: as credit from €10 for 40 inbound minutes, or in packages from €49 per month, billed annually. Cal.com also has an AI phone assistant: according to the Cal.com help center, Cal.ai calls attendees as part of workflows to confirm, book, reschedule or follow up on meetings, for $0.29 per minute. You buy a phone number for it from Cal.com as a US number for $5 per month, or import a Twilio number for other countries.
Zeeg runs fully hosted, so there is nothing to install or maintain. Round robin and routing forms are part of the Business plan at €16 per user per month, billed annually, and single sign-on and SCIM come with the Scale plan at €30. Cal.com includes round robin and routing forms from its Teams plan at $12 per user per month, and SAML SSO and SCIM from Organizations at $28. Since April 2026, Cal.com’s production code is private; its public repository is Cal.diy, an MIT-licensed community edition for self-hosting, which according to Cal.com leaves out Organizations, Teams and SAML SSO.
Zeeg connects HubSpot, Pipedrive and Salesforce directly from the Business plan at €16 per user per month, and creates the video link for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, alfaview or Demodesk with every booking. Cal.com’s app store lists HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Close and Attio as CRM apps, and Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Cal Video and more for video; Pipedrive, alfaview and Demodesk are not in it as of October 2026.

“I’ve now set up five clients with Zeeg, including law firms, media agencies and a skin clinic, and for all of them the AI voice agent matters most. It answers calls on holidays and after hours, answers callers’ questions and books the appointment straight into the business’s Google or Outlook calendar.”
“Every morning, the first thing I check in Zeeg is what our AI voice agent has arranged since yesterday. It asks callers the first questions and then books the right appointment. […] The agent also calls out on its own: contacts we want to follow up with get a call with their own greeting at a set time.”
“The practical, simple setup of the AI voice agent deserves a special mention. The AI voice agent also sounds authentic and helps us take customer enquiries and bookings 24/7.”
“Zeeg lets us tailor scheduling to every one of our use cases. We mainly use round robin and group events with specific presets that are easy to set up.”
“We used to use Calendly and have now switched to Zeeg.me completely, and honestly, I’m thrilled!”
“I add the link to every email to recruiters, and they pick a free time themselves. Thanks to the two-way sync with my Google Calendar, only times when I’m not in a lecture or another call show up, so I haven’t had a single double booking.”
“Round robin events and adding the link to our email signature and website are super easy. The prices are more than fair […]”
“Especially when handling client data, it matters who stores the data, where and how. […] Zeeg is a very good German alternative here: easy to use, with every feature you need.”
“Zeeg makes scheduling with my clients easier every day. I send my clients the link, and they can easily book a time that suits them.”
Calendars, video conferencing, CRMs, payments, analytics and single sign-on: Zeeg connects to the tools your team already works with.
