You can now give your AI phone agent a room to sound like it is sitting in.
What's new:
• Office background sound – A toggle in the agent's Call settings plays a quiet office ambience under its voice for the whole call.
• Off by default – New and existing agents start with it off, and it can be switched between calls.
• No effect on understanding – The agent does not hear the ambience itself, so it never changes what it picks up from the caller.
Why this matters: An agent speaking into complete silence sounds like a recording, and callers treat it like one — they talk over it, or hang up. A little room tone behind the voice makes it sound like someone picked up a phone in an office, which is exactly what you want a caller to believe.
