You can now create an API token when AI minutes are the only thing you pay for.
What's new:
• Token without a standard plan – An active AI minutes subscription is now enough to create a token, where a standard plan or trial used to be required.
• Scoped to outbound calls – The token carries the outbound calls permission only, so it cannot reach features you have not paid for.
• Works for organisation members – A member of an organisation whose owner holds the AI minutes subscription gets the same access as the owner.
Why this matters: Paying for outbound calls and then being told you cannot start one programmatically was an accident of how access was checked, not a deliberate limit. If AI minutes are what you bought, you can now build on them.
Find it under Settings → API access.
