“Hi Maria” reads a lot friendlier than “Hi Maria Schmidt” — and your messages can now say it.
What's new:
• Host first name and last name – Two new variables in scheduling page notifications and workflow messages fill in just the host's first or last name.
• Several hosts – With more than one host, names are joined the same way as the full name, for example “Anna, Ben and Clara”.
• Clearer labels – The variable picker now always calls these Host variables, and shows the host's name next to the label when there's just one, like “Host First Name (Maria)”.
Why this matters: A message that addresses someone by their full name sounds like it came from a system. Small details like this decide whether an automated message feels like it was written by a person.
