The first call with your new AI phone agent should feel exciting, not confusing — so the test call after onboarding has been rebuilt as a short, guided flow.
What's new:
• Call your agent – The first screen shows your agent's name and current voice; start the call now, or come back to it later from the Get Started page.
• Pick a voice after the call – Once you hang up, you see only voices that speak your agent's language, filterable by gender, with a separate button to play each sample.
• Try again with a new voice – Choose another voice and call again straight away; the voice you pick last becomes your agent's voice when you continue.
• No surprises mid-call – Voices are locked while the call runs, and hanging up or closing while it's still connecting cancels the call immediately.
• Go live your way – The last step no longer asks for payment or a phone number: book time with our team, or head straight to your agent's settings.
Why this matters: Hearing your agent for the first time is when you decide whether it's good enough to answer your customers. An unexplained timer and a payment prompt you can't dismiss get in the way of that. Now the test is about one thing: how your agent sounds.
It opens automatically on the Get Started page after onboarding, if you created an AI agent.
AI Phone Bot is available from the Professional plan onwards.
