Today we're announcing that we've raised €1.1 million in Pre-Seed funding to build the booking CRM for Europe. Led by High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and Backbone Ventures, this funding accelerates our mission: turning every appointment into a customer, entirely on European infrastructure, with AI agents working in the background.
The funding supports three priorities: building AI agents that qualify leads during booking, expanding across European markets where data sovereignty matters, and growing our team to serve mid-market and enterprise customers at scale.
What we're building
European businesses face a structural challenge. Non-EU business software dominates the market with superior features but routes data through third countries. Companies shouldn't have to choose between innovation and compliance.
Zeeg addresses this by combining appointment booking, CRM functionality, and AI-driven lead qualification in one platform built on European infrastructure. Every booking automatically creates a structured CRM entry with contact details, company information, and complete interaction history. Sales teams see the full customer journey without switching tools. Service teams access previous conversations without manual handoffs. All while maintaining full GDPR compliance on servers in Europe.
AI agents that work before the first conversation
We started by solving appointment booking, but the real opportunity lies in what happens around those appointments. Our AI agents qualify leads at the point of booking, asking intelligent questions, assessing fit, and routing prospects to the right team member before they ever reach anyone's calendar.
This Pre-Seed funding enables us to build agents that work in the background, delivering shorter sales cycles, lower customer acquisition costs, and higher conversion rates without compromising on where data lives.
The European software opportunity
According to a recent BARC study¹, over 50% of German enterprises are reconsidering their cloud strategy due to data sovereignty concerns driven by new regulations, geopolitical developments, and cybersecurity requirements. This isn't a temporary trend. It's a structural shift in how European businesses evaluate software.
This creates space for a new generation of European software companies. Not because they're merely compliant, but because they're building platforms that deliver both cutting-edge capabilities and architectural decisions that European businesses can trust.
That's the opportunity we're seizing with Zeeg. A booking CRM that doesn't ask companies to compromise. One that works the way modern software should while respecting where data needs to stay.
What comes next
This €1.1 million accelerates our roadmap: building AI agents that qualify leads during the booking process, expanding to European markets where compliance and data residency are non-negotiable, and scaling our team to support businesses that refuse to compromise on either innovation or sovereignty.
European companies can build platforms that compete on technology while leading on principles. The future of business software doesn't require choosing between cutting-edge capabilities and control over your data. It requires building both from the ground up.
That's the category we're defining. And we're just getting started.
