AI Minutes is a recurring subscription that powers your AI Phone Agents for inbound and outbound calls. You can choose Monthly or Annual billing — annual billing saves 20%. Your subscription renews automatically and can be changed or cancelled at any time.
Only workspace Owners, Admins, and Partners can purchase, change, or cancel the AI Minutes subscription. Other team members can view usage but cannot make changes. Updating the billing address or tax ID on the AI Minutes receipt is more restricted — only Owners and Admins can do this (see the billing section below).
How to subscribe to AI Minutes
Click your workspace name in the top left corner and select Workspace settings.
Choose Subscription from the left sidebar.
Scroll to the AI Minutes section and click Buy AI Minutes.
If your plan supports it, choose a billing cycle using the Monthly / Annually toggle. The Save 20% badge appears on the annual option.
Use the plan slider to select the number of minutes per billing cycle. The card below the slider shows the estimated usage capacity — both inbound and outbound call minutes — for the chosen period.
Review the order summary on the right. It shows the plan, billing frequency, and the total due.
Click Subscribe Monthly or Subscribe Yearly to complete checkout.
Once payment is confirmed, your AI Minutes credits are activated immediately. The subscription renews automatically on your next renewal date.
How to manage your active subscription
When you have an active AI Minutes subscription, the button in the billing page changes from Buy AI Minutes to Manage Subscription.
Go to Workspace settings > Subscription and scroll to the AI Minutes section.
Click Manage Subscription.
The subscription panel shows:
Current Plan — your active plan name and monthly minute allowance per cycle.
Billing Cycle — Monthly or Yearly.
Next Renewal — the date your subscription automatically renews and you are charged again.
From the order summary on the right you can also update your payment method, or edit your billing address and tax ID directly on your Paddle receipt via the Edit on receipt link — see Updating Your Billing Address or Tax ID below for details.
How to change your plan
Open Manage Subscription and click Change Plan.
Select a billing cycle (Monthly or Annually) and choose a different plan using the slider.
Read the notice that appears in the order summary — it tells you exactly when and how you will be charged.
Click Confirm Plan Change to apply the change.
Upgrades (more minutes, or switching from Monthly to Yearly): charged today at the full plan price. Credits are activated once payment is confirmed and your next renewal date resets accordingly.
Downgrades (fewer minutes, or switching from Yearly to Monthly): no charge today. Your current plan continues until the next renewal date, after which the new plan takes effect.
How to cancel your AI Minutes subscription
Go to Workspace settings > Subscription, scroll to AI Minutes, and click Manage Subscription.
Click Cancel Subscription.
Confirm in the dialog that appears.
After cancellation, any credits you have already received remain valid until their expiry date. No further charges are made. You can start a new subscription at any time by clicking Buy AI Minutes.
Updating Your Billing Address or Tax ID
You can update the billing address or tax ID for your AI Minutes subscription directly from the billing settings page. Because billing addresses are stored on your Paddle receipt — not inside Zeeg — your main subscription and your AI Minutes subscription each have their own Edit on receipt link.
Who can do this: Only workspace Owners and Administrators can access billing receipt links. Team members (including Partners) see the label greyed out with a tooltip explaining the restriction.
Go to your account Billing settings.
Scroll to the AI Minutes section.
Under AI Minutes Billing Details, you will see the description: "Update your billing address or tax ID directly on your receipt via our payment provider."
Click Edit on receipt. Your latest AI Minutes receipt opens at Paddle (our payment provider) in a new tab.
On the Paddle receipt page, update your billing address or tax ID. The change applies to all future AI Minutes invoices for this subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Who can manage the AI Minutes subscription?
Owners, Admins, and Partners can purchase, change, or cancel the subscription. Other roles can view usage but cannot make changes. Editing the billing address or tax ID on the receipt is more restricted — only Owners and Admins can do that.
What is the difference between Monthly and Annual billing?
Both options renew automatically. Annual billing charges you once per year and costs 20% less than paying month-by-month. If the billing cycle toggle is not shown, your selected plan does not yet support annual billing.
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
Any credits you have already received stay valid until their expiry date. No new credits are issued after the subscription ends, and you can resubscribe at any time.
Can I switch between Monthly and Annual billing?
Yes — use Change Plan and select the other billing cycle. Switching from Monthly to Yearly is treated as an upgrade (charged today at the annual price). Switching from Yearly to Monthly is treated as a downgrade (takes effect at your next renewal date).
What does "Custom" next to my plan name mean?
A Custom plan was configured specifically for your organisation by the Zeeg team, with personalised credits and pricing. When switching to a custom plan, credits are added to your account immediately and no payment is charged.
I see "Pricing temporarily unavailable." What should I do?
This message appears when our payment provider cannot be reached temporarily. Refresh the page and try again. If the issue persists, reach out to support@zeeg.me.
Why are there two separate billing details sections?
Zeeg bills your main subscription and your AI Minutes subscription separately through Paddle. Each plan has its own receipt, so each has its own billing address. A change in one section does not affect the other.
I don't see the "AI Minutes Billing Details" section. Why?
The section only appears once your AI Minutes subscription has at least one completed payment on record. If your first payment is still processing, the link will appear shortly. If you have not yet purchased an AI Minutes subscription, the section will not be shown.
The "Edit on receipt" link is greyed out. What should I do?
The link is restricted to workspace Owners and Administrators. If you see it greyed out with the message "Only workspace admins can perform this action," ask a workspace admin to open the receipt and update the billing details on your behalf.
Does updating my billing address affect past invoices?
No. Changes to your billing address or tax ID on the Paddle receipt apply to future AI Minutes invoices only. Past receipts are not retroactively updated. If you need a correction on a historical receipt, contact Paddle support directly from the receipt page.
