Connect your organization's Matomo instance to Zeeg to track visitors and booking events across all your scheduling pages — for every user and team in your organization.

How to connect Matomo to Zeeg
In your Zeeg dashboard, open Integrations and click on Matomo.
Enter your Matomo account details:
URL — the address of your Matomo instance, for example
https://your-instance.matomo.cloud/.Enter your Site ID — the numeric ID of the site in your Matomo account (for example
1). You can find it under Administration → Websites in Matomo.Optionally, fill in the Tracker script URL (optional) field. Leave it empty to load
matomo.jsfrom your Matomo URL automatically. Set a custom URL only if you use Matomo Cloud, a renamed tracker script file, or an ad-blocker-resistant path.Click Save.
If Zeeg saves your settings but cannot reach your Matomo instance, you will see a warning. Tracking may not work until the URL is reachable and publicly accessible.
What Zeeg tracks in Matomo
Once connected, Zeeg tracks the following visitor actions as Matomo events (category / action / name):

In addition, Matomo automatically records a page view on every scheduling page load.
All events are also pushed to window._mtm, so if you use Matomo Tag Manager you can trigger tags from any of the Zeeg events listed above.
Privacy and consent
When your organization has any analytics integration active, Zeeg automatically shows invitees a consent banner on your scheduling pages. Matomo loads only after a visitor accepts. By default, Zeeg runs Matomo in cookieless mode — no cookies are written — which is compatible with EU privacy requirements (GDPR, TTDSG).
Frequently asked questions
Does this work with Matomo Cloud?
Yes. Enter your Matomo Cloud URL (for example https://your-instance.matomo.cloud/) as the Matomo URL. Matomo Cloud serves the tracker script from a different path than the standard matomo.js endpoint, so you will also need to fill in the Tracker script URL field with the full URL Matomo Cloud provides.
Where do I find my Site ID?
In your Matomo account, go to Administration → Websites → Manage. The Site ID is shown in the ID column next to your site's name.
Can I set up Matomo as a Matomo Goal?
Yes. Zeeg fires a dedicated Zeeg / BookingCompleted / {slug} event for every completed booking. In Matomo, create a Goal that triggers on Custom Event with category Zeeg and action BookingCompleted. You do not need to know the slug to match it — leaving the name blank matches all event types.
Does Zeeg support Matomo Tag Manager (MTM)?
Yes. Every Zeeg event is also pushed to the window._mtm dataLayer, so MTM users can use any Zeeg event as a trigger in their container without additional configuration.
Why does the settings page show a warning after I save?
If Zeeg cannot reach your Matomo instance at the URL you entered, it saves your settings but warns you that tracking may not work. Make sure your Matomo instance is publicly accessible over HTTPS and that there is no firewall or access restriction blocking requests from Zeeg's servers.
Can I use Matomo alongside Google Analytics or Meta Pixel?
Yes. All three integrations can be active at the same time. Zeeg fires events to each platform independently from the same user action.
