The Slack integration lets Zeeg send automatic messages to Slack when bookings are confirmed, AI agent calls end, or routing forms are submitted. Connect your Slack workspace once, then add a Slack action to any workflow.
The Slack integration is currently in beta.
How to connect Slack and send your first message
Open a workflow in the workflow editor — either an existing one or a new one.
Add an action step and select Slack message as the action type.
If your workspace has not yet connected Slack, click Connect Slack. Zeeg opens the Slack authorisation page — sign in to the right Slack workspace and approve the access request.
In the Send to field, choose where the message should go: Channel, Host, Team member, or Contact owner.
If you chose Channel, search for it by name. Channels labelled Private channel are private in Slack. If a recently created channel does not appear, click Refresh channel list.
Write the message body. Use variables (such as invitee name, event time, or booking link) to personalise the content.
Click Send test to verify the message reaches Slack, then save the workflow.
Ready-to-use Slack workflow presets
When you create a new workflow, Zeeg offers three Slack presets with pre-filled triggers, timing, and message bodies:
Post new bookings to Slack — sends a message to a Slack channel each time a booking is confirmed, with the invitee name, scheduling page, date, time, and assigned host.
Post missed calls to Slack — sends a message when an AI phone agent call ends without a booking, including the caller name, phone number, agent name, and call outcome.
Post form leads without a booking to Slack — sends a message when a routing form is submitted but no time slot is booked, with the submitter name, email, and form name.
You can edit the message body of any preset before saving.
Where Slack messages can be sent
The Send to setting controls who receives the message:
Channel — posts to a specific channel in your connected Slack workspace. The Zeeg app must be invited to private channels before they appear.
Host — sends a direct message to the Zeeg member assigned to the booking. The host must have their own Zeeg account connected to the same Slack workspace.
Team member — sends a direct message to a specific member of your Zeeg workspace. That member must also be connected to the same Slack workspace.
Contact owner — sends a direct message to the CRM owner of the contact the workflow is about. The owner must be connected to the same Slack workspace.
Frequently asked questions
Can I connect more than one Slack workspace?
One Slack workspace can be connected per Zeeg workspace at a time. All Slack actions in your workflows use that single connection.
A channel I just created is not showing up.
Click Refresh channel list inside the Slack action step. This reloads the latest channel list from your Slack workspace.
Why is the direct message not reaching the host?
Zeeg can only send a direct message to a host or team member whose Zeeg account is connected to the same Slack workspace. If the connection is missing on their end, the message is silently skipped.
How do I disconnect Slack?
Open your Slack workspace settings in Slack and remove the Zeeg app from there. Alternatively, remove the connected integration from your Zeeg account integrations settings. Once disconnected, all Slack workflow actions will stop sending until Slack is reconnected.
Which plans include the Slack integration?
The Slack integration is available on plans that include workflow actions. Check the Zeeg pricing page for details.
