The dashboard search lets you jump to any page or setting, look up scheduling pages, meetings and CRM contacts, run quick actions on a result, create new items, and find help center articles — all without leaving the keyboard. Open it with ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux from any page in your Zeeg dashboard.
The dashboard search is currently in Beta and is available on paid plans and during free trials. It is not available on the free Starter plan.
How to open the dashboard search
Press ⌘K on a Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux. The search dialog opens immediately with the field Search pages, settings and records, or ask a question.
Press Esc or click outside the dialog to close it without navigating anywhere.
On pages that have their own search box in the header (such as the scheduling pages list), a small ⌘K or Ctrl K hint is shown next to the search box. Clicking that hint opens the same dashboard search.
What you can search for
Pages — type the name of any section in the sidebar, such as Integrations, Workflows, Availability, or Meetings. The search also understands synonyms and keywords, so typing billing finds the Subscription page.
Settings — type a specific setting name, such as Two-factor Authentication or Password. Selecting a setting result opens the containing page and scrolls directly to that field so you do not have to search the page yourself.
Scheduling pages — type the name of a scheduling page. Each result shows the avatars of its hosts (up to three, with a +N for the rest), or the owner, team or workspace when the page has no hosts. Selecting a result opens the scheduling page for editing.
Workflows, routing forms and AI agents — type a name to find them directly. AI agents that are switched off are marked Inactive, and an AI agent's phone number is shown under its name.
Meetings — type an invitee name or email address. The most recent matching meetings appear as results. Selecting one opens the meeting detail.
CRM contacts and companies — type a contact name, company name, or email address. Matching people and company records appear directly, with their avatar. A person's email address and phone number are shown under the name; a company shows its website as a link that opens in a new tab. CRM search is available on plans that include CRM access, and only lists records you are allowed to read.
Questions — type a plain-language question such as how do I create a routing form or update availability. The search strips filler words and suggests the page that best answers your question.
Use the ↑ and ↓ arrow keys to move between results, and press Enter to open the highlighted item. You can also click any result directly.
Quick actions on a result
Move the mouse over a result to reveal small icon buttons at its right edge. Hover over a button to see its name. Clicking a button runs the action without opening the result itself.
Scheduling pages — Copy link, Upcoming events (opens your meetings list filtered to that scheduling page's upcoming, confirmed meetings), and Edit.
CRM people — Activity and Events. Hovering over an email address or phone number also shows a Copy button.
CRM companies — Activity, Events and Team.
Routing forms — Copy link for everyone who can see the form. Owners, admins and partners also get Submissions and Edit.
AI agents — Edit, Conversations and Call settings. Hovering over the phone number shows a Copy button.
The copy actions keep the search open, so you can paste the link or number and carry on. Every other action closes the search and takes you to the page.
Create something new from the search
Type what you want to create, such as new scheduling page or new contact, and look in the Create group. Selecting a command takes you to the matching page and opens its create dialog there. The search stays open until the dialog is ready, so you never see a half-loaded page in between.
These commands are available:
New scheduling page
New person and New company (CRM)
New routing form
New workflow
New AI agent
Invite user and Invite partner
Create team — this opens the team creation page rather than a dialog
Add room
Create API token and Create webhook
A command is only listed if you are allowed to create that item — for example, inviting users needs an owner or admin role, and CRM commands need edit access to that CRM object. If the page cannot create the item after all, such as when you have reached a plan limit, it stays open and tells you why.
Going back: a create dialog that you opened from the search has a small arrow (Back to search) at the left of its title. Click it to close the dialog and return to the search with your query and the command you chose still in place.
Features that need a higher plan
If you can manage your subscription, pages, settings and create commands that your current plan does not include are marked with a purple upgrade badge that names the plan you need — the same badge you see in the sidebar. Selecting one opens the plans dialog instead of the page, so you can upgrade and pick up where you left off. These results are not saved in your Recent list, and features that your plan does not include return no records in the search.
If you cannot manage the subscription yourself, ask your workspace owner to upgrade.
Recent pages
When you open the search without typing anything, a Recent group shows the last pages and settings you navigated to from the search — up to five. These are stored in your browser only. No names, email addresses, or record details are saved, only the page identifiers, so your data stays in Zeeg.
Help center search
When your query does not match any page, setting, or record, a Search the Help Center for "…" item appears at the bottom of the list. Selecting it opens the Zeeg help center in a new tab and runs your query there. Personal information — email addresses, phone numbers, invitee names, and booking numbers — is never sent to the help center. Only the words that appear in help articles are forwarded.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I see the dashboard search?
The dashboard search requires a paid plan or an active free trial. It is not shown on the free Starter plan, during the initial onboarding setup, or on sign-in screens. If you are on a paid plan or trial and still cannot open it, try refreshing the page.
Can I search by email address?
Yes. Type an invitee's email address and matching meetings or CRM contacts will appear. Email addresses are treated as record lookups and are never sent to the help center or to Zeeg's AI assistant.
Does the search send my queries to an AI?
For short queries (one or two words), the search works entirely within the dashboard — nothing leaves your browser for any AI. For questions of three or more words that return no matching page or record, the search may ask Zeeg's AI assistant which dashboard page best fits your question. Queries containing email addresses, phone numbers, or any query that already found a matching record are never sent out.
The page I am looking for is not appearing in results.
Try a synonym or a keyword. For example, type members instead of Users, or API key instead of Access Token. You can also type a short question such as invite a colleague to let the search suggest the right page.
Why is a create command missing?
The search only lists a create command when you are allowed to create that item. Check your role in the workspace and, for CRM, your access to that CRM object. Commands for features that are not part of your plan appear with an upgrade badge if you can manage the subscription.
I selected a create command but no dialog opened.
The page checks its own limits when it receives the request. If you have reached a limit, such as the maximum number of API tokens or webhooks, the page opens without a dialog and shows why you cannot add more.
Can I use the search with the keyboard only?
Yes. Press ⌘K or Ctrl+K to open, type to filter, use the ↑ and ↓ keys to move between results, press Enter to open the selected item, and press Esc to close. The quick-action buttons on a result are reached with the mouse.
