When you subscribe to or upgrade a Zeeg plan, a dialog titled Add your billing details now appears before the payment page opens. You can fill in your company's billing information so it appears on your invoices — or skip the step entirely and go straight to checkout. Zeeg saves the details you provide and re-uses them for future purchases.
Who can manage billing: Only the workspace owner can subscribe, upgrade, or provide billing details.
How to add your billing details during checkout
Start a subscription or upgrade on your billing page. The Add your billing details dialog opens automatically before the payment page.
Fill in your company's information:
Company name — required
Street and number — required
Postcode — required
City — required
State or province — optional
Country — required
VAT number — optional
Click Continue. Zeeg saves your details and opens the Paddle payment page.
If you do not want to provide billing details right now, click Skip for now. The payment page opens immediately without saving any details.
Important: Closing the dialog cancels the checkout
Only the two buttons move you forward to the payment page. If you close the dialog by pressing Escape, clicking the × button, or clicking outside the dialog, the checkout is cancelled and you return to the billing page without being charged. Open the checkout again from the billing page when you are ready to continue.
The all-or-nothing rule for the address block
The required fields — Company name, Street and number, Postcode, City, and Country — must either all be filled in or all be left empty. You cannot submit the form with some required fields completed and others blank.
If you see the message Fill in all fields, or clear them all., finish completing every required field, or remove everything you have entered so that the block is empty.
The VAT number follows the same rule: you may leave it empty, but if you fill it in, the complete required address block must also be provided.
Updating billing details on an existing subscription
The billing details form applies to new checkouts. For an already-active subscription, the billing address and VAT number are tied to your receipt and can only be corrected there. Go to your billing page and click Edit on receipt under Subscription Billing Details to open the latest paid receipt on Paddle's portal, where you can update your address.
Frequently asked questions
Is providing billing details required?
No. You can click Skip for now at any time to go directly to the payment page. Your subscription works normally either way. Providing billing details is useful if you need them to appear on your Zeeg invoices for accounting or tax purposes.
Is the VAT number required?
No. The VAT number field is optional. If you enter a VAT number, you must also complete all required address fields (company name, street, postcode, city, and country).
Will Zeeg remember my billing details for the next purchase?
Yes. When you click Continue, Zeeg saves your details. The next time you go through checkout — for example, when purchasing additional AI minutes or adding a subscription — the form is pre-filled with your stored details. You can update them at any time before clicking Continue.
Why did my checkout disappear when I pressed Escape?
Closing the Add your billing details dialog (via Escape, the × button, or a click outside) cancels the checkout. This is intentional — it prevents an accidental partial flow. Return to your billing page and start the checkout again when you are ready.
Can admins manage billing details?
No. Only the workspace owner has access to the subscription and billing flow. Admins and regular team members cannot see or change billing details.
